The hotel is in a great location. 15 minutes walk to the city centre and the cathedral etc. The room was spacious enough for myself. Room 409. The bathroom again big enough for me. Lovely shower and nearly laid out. Breakfast was ideal to start off the day with plenty of choice. The quality was very good and food was replenished as soon as it needed to be. My room was cleaned daily and if requested the bed linen would be changed daily as well. The staff at reception and in the breakfast room were very welcoming and very helpful. There are some great eating places near the hotel. I would recommend going to Bar La Maceta. Superb food. Used by local people. Great service and atmosphere. Also go to Restaurant La Montera. Again great quality food with excellent service. Used by the local people. Thoroughly enjoyed both places. Some quaint small bars nearby too to have a quiet beer.

We stayed only for 2 nights but really enjoyed it. The room was very well kept, it felt new and impeccably clean. Comfortable beds and multiple choices of pillows available on request. The TV was huge and modern, with smart features like streaming from my phone. Bathroom was big and bright, with a spacious walk-in shower cabin. The room included complimentary slippers, which were quite welcome since I forgot mine at home. The breakfast experience was incredible and totally blew my mind, because besides the typical "continental" options you find everywhere, they had delicious salted fish cuts (tuna, cod, salmon and sardine), guacamole, hummus, corn bread, and other fresh ingredients... I had never tried such things for breakfast and absolutely loved it! The staff were very friendly, polite and well presented.

Everything you would expect from a good four-star hotel. For me, everything was perfect: the staff, breakfast, bed, pillows, shower, towels… You’ll need some experience, a small car, and a bit of luck to park in the hotel’s parking lot. But most hotels in the center of Seville don’t have parking at all. The hotel’s location is convenient. The city center is within walking distance, yet the area itself is pleasant and quiet, away from the main tourist crowds. Visit Plaza de España on your first evening (make sure to go in the evening first to feel the full magic of the place) and enjoy Seville!

Lovely quiet room (Junior Suite-7 nights). Excellent staff, front of house and housekeeping. Hotel is a 15-20 minute walk to the old town, located in Los Remedios, a very Spanish area with plenty of shops and local bars on the doorstep. We didn't have breakfast in hotel but went to a nice place around the corner a few times called Greta's. Triana riverside has plenty of bars and restaurants also and is worth checking out to get away from the main tourist places. Ideal hotel for a longer stay in Sevilla.

We felt very comfortable at hotel Monte Carmelo. The staff are very friendly at the reception and at the breakfast. They even remember what you like and get it for you the next day without asking. The cleaning is done very nicely where they even refill soap and other stuff in the bathroom every day. The location of the hotel was great for us since we travelled to other cities. It is not in the city center but within 15 minutes of a beautiful walk crossing the bridge
